I'm 16 and I have been climbing for roughly 5 years. I was an indoor climber and part of the Surrey Sports Park Performance Squad up until late 2015. Since then my main focus has been climbing outdoors and training for that specifically. I climb outdoors most weekends in the UK in places such as the Peak District and North Wales, I have also been lucky enough to climb abroad in Turkey, Bulgaria and most recently Switzerland.

In October I spent 10 days in Magic Wood, Switzerland. A beautiful location with so many amazing boulder problems. I enjoyed every problem I climbed from "Blue Sky of Mine" (6A) to "Massive Attack" (8A+). The highlight of the trip for me was sending "Foxy Lady" (8A), my first of the grade and a classic of the area. After watching it being climbed so many times in videos I was super psyched to go and try it. After working it and doing all the moves in isolation, I sent it in just a few goes. It suited my style perfectly, shouldery moves on small crimps.

I'm now back training at Reading Climbing Centre and looking forward to another trip back to Magic Wood in spring.

I'm very proud to be an Ambassador for Crimp, great quality clothes which last and look great even after being dragged over a gritstone boulder!
